Due to teams dropping out of our intended leagues the fixtures have had to be re scheduled.

All coaches registered within the team contacts list will have been sent copies to their email addresses. The website will always be correct and should always be used as the guide.

Please can all coaches check out the new fixtures or matches.

POM Awards

There will no longer be a Top Goal Scorer Award in any league in the 10-11 season..

Finlay Communications and Prentice Roofing have both agreed to continue their sponsorship with Finlay Communications GBL POM in the Under 11s and Prentice Roofing GBL POM in the Under 10s.

The league would like thank both sponsors for their continued support.

Child Friendly Website

It is the GBCYL's aim to ensure that this website is kept child friendly. It would be appreciated if any links added or included within the site that contravene this policy are reported to the League and they will be removed immediately.

Once registered there is a section 'Players Rest Room' for players to enjoy GBCYL hosted games and if you have games you wish to forward to the site please do.

Team (or Club) Websites

The GBCYL can provide team websites, including registered team web addresses and email such as BloggsUnited. info and contact@bloggsunited. info for a small fee. This will include hosting of the website, assistance publishing the site and team name web registration.

Match events

Team admin should note that now the matches have been published they will be able to check out how to add a starting line up and how to add a match day event such as GBL POM, goal scorer or other events they can attribute to their team players.

Hopefully this will assist those coaches wishing to maintain records for end of season club awards.

If any coach would like an additional event added to the list, to use on a week to week basis contact the website.

There is an offer presently in the GBL Online shop - 12 Umbro practice balls for £66.00.We can now offer all clubs this deal.When clubs buy these great value balls they can also get two umbro match balls for £12.00.So for £78 clubs will have 12 training balls and two great match balls.The GBL would like all clubs to take advantage of this great offer and balls will be on view at this Fridays managers meeting.Orders can be placed then.

Once again beat that........ anyone? Not probably, we are the 'Best' League in the country!
